Safety Officer (m/w/d)

 

Job description:

  • Verantwortung der Sicherheit an Bord mit besonderem Fokus auf Safety Procedures
  • Durchführung einer sicheren nautischen Wache auf See, im Hafen oder auf Reede
  • Gesamtverantwortung für Dokumentation, Wartung, Prüfung und Einsatzbereitschaft aller sicherheitsrelevanten Equipments an Bord (LSA und Firefighting Equipment)
  • Planung, Durchführung und Dokumentation von Sicherheitsübungen und Trainings für die gesamte Crew
  • Pflege und Anwendung relevanter Management- und Reportingsysteme (IMS, HESS-MS, PMS etc.)
  • Wachführung (04–08 / 16–20) sowie Verantwortung für die sichere Navigation
  • Ausbildung, Coaching und fachliche Weiterentwicklung von Junior Officers und Cadets
  • Unterstützung bei Manövern sowie Einhaltung aller Sicherheits-, Hygiene- und Umweltstandards

Requirements:

  • Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Nautik
  • STCW II/2 – Chief Mate Unlimited
  • Ausgeprägte Kenntnisse in Bridge Resource Management
  • Sehr hohes Sicherheitsbewusstsein und Durchsetzungsstärke
  • Führungskompetenz, Stressresistenz und strukturierte Arbeitsweise
  • Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse, Deutsch und Italienisch von Vorteil
