Your Tasks
- Ensure the safe, reliable, efficient and environmentally compliant operation of all HVAC‑R systems
- Plan and execute all HVAC and refrigeration‑related operations, including maintenance, day‑to‑day activities, improvements and technical modifications for assigned vessels
- Foster a strong safety and environmental protection culture through close collaboration with onboard and shore‑based teams
- Conduct regular inspections onboard, including project‑related and shipyard period inspections
- Plan and actively participate in all Dry Dock activities
- Manage HVAC items and maintenance processes (spare parts, consumables, procedures and instructions)
- Review, update and optimize maintenance procedures and manage item setup within Infoship
- Structure, organize and maintain all HVAC‑R documentation and technical information
Your Profile
- A degree in HVAC, refrigeration or a maritime technical field such as ship operation, shipbuilding, outfitting, service or engineering; alternatively, a comparable technical qualification
- Practical experience in project coordination or project management is an advantage
- Solid hands‑on experience working with HVAC‑R systems in a maritime environment, ideally on cruise ships, large ferries or yachts
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with systems such as Infoship, Amos or similar software is desirable
- Experience leading small project teams is beneficial
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and a structured, solution‑oriented working style
- Very good command of English
